You can access the same information through your MyATT account under usage. You can get usage history from 6 or 7 years ago. You may also request a “detailed bill reprint“ by calling customer service again and hopefully you get someone that knows what they are doing.

ATT keeps 7 years of billing records. At best you can get back to 2016. You must call and request bill reprints and you need to specify you want the detailed bill that includes call and text logs.

For example, AT&T retains "cloud storage internet/web browsing" data for one year. Carrier companies store the call history longer than most phones do. Hence, you can check your carrier app or website if you want to see call history for the past months or even up to a year.

AT&T doesn't have the content of any text messages between you or anyone else. All you'll get is date/time/phone number of each text. You can get the text logs for the past 16 months through your account online. Beyond that time, you have to call to get bill reprints of earlier text logs.

FYI: Wireless usage including call, text, and data history is available for up to 16 billing periods. The content of text or video messages isn't visible or accessible to anyone on the account. How do I add usage details to my paper bill?

Log in and go to myAT&T > My wireless > Check usage . On the Usage page, scroll down to Usage by number and select the line you wish to view. Click on Data, text & talk logs. You'll be able to view the date/time sent, contact number and the usage amount.

ATT only keeps records back 7 years so the first half of 2015 is probably not available. In any event, the only way to get records that far back is to call and request bill reprints.

AT&T does not retain any text content. The only thing retrievable from AT&T is date/time/number, NOT content. Bills with text logs (not content) are available back 16 months.

AT&T holds onto data such as call records, cell site, and tower dumps for 7 years.

Your phone stores the last 180 days of calls but only displays 100 at a time. You can delete calls in your Phone app's "Recents" tab to display older calls. If you can't find your call on your phone, you can log in to your mobile carrier's website to find a more in-depth call log.

How to View Old Call History on Android. By default, Android Call History is limited to the most recent 500 logs. As such, new calls made, received or missed after this limit will cause the oldest logs to be permanently deleted from the device.
