Does at&t prepaid delete phone records such as phone calls and text messages on the data usage history from your account? I am trying to figure out if an call or text message was done on a certain date does that show the correct calls and text messages from that day? If so if I had no more calls or text on a certain date until the next day does that mean I had no more incoming text or calls for that date?

No, they don’t delete any call or text records.

It should be.

It definitely means you had no more texts. Only answered calls get logged, so you could have had incoming unanswered calls.

Prepaid has 6 months of records only. Anything older is purged

It should be or it is? Why wouldn’t it be the correct calls and text for a certain day? Does the registration of the call history and text history get delayed to show on a certain date? Or if a call was done or a text was done on a certain date would it show for that day? Or would it take a while to register?

Also does AT&T prepaid ever not register calls or text messages? Or do the register every call and text that’s made?

I say “they should” only because we see complaints occasionally that some calls and texts don’t get logged. I have no idea if that really happens or not. It might take awhile for a call or text to get into the log but the time stamp for that call or text will be when that call or text occurred.

I have the history, what I see is it accurate? Do you all delete calls? Or text? What would be a reason calls or text won’t show and register?

Thanks for letting us know you're able to view your usage history, @cashfirst.
No, we don't delete anything. We update your usage reports as quickly as we can, but sometimes your usage info may be unavailable or delayed. When viewing usage online, time stamps for current data or text usage may be off by up to 4 hours.

Also what would make usage unavailable? What would be that reason?
