BORGERDING, GERALD age 80, of Lancaster, Ohio, formerly of Dutzow, Missouri, died Sunday, April 22, 2000, in Rockmill Rehabilitation Center. He was a member of the St. Mary Church, Olivedale Senior Citizen Center, 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Council 1016, a WWII veteran of the 1277th Engineers Combat Battalion serving in Normandy, Northern France, Central Europe and Rhineland. He measured his life in quiet steadiness and an open heart and was a great listener. He retired after forty years as an accountant of the Ashland Chemical Co.
