"That's Just the Way It Is" is a song by English drummer Phil Collins, released as a single in July 1990 from his fourth solo studio album, ...But Seriously (1989). The track features David Crosby on background vocals.

“Don't Get Around Much Anymore” was written in 1940 by Duke Ellington. Originally titled “Never No Lament” it became a hit shortly after Bob Russell added lyrics in 1942, at which point the title changed.

In the '70s, before he was a successful solo artist, Strait wrote much of the material for his Ace in the Hole Band, including “That Don't Change The Way I Feel About You,” and “I Can't Go On Dying Like This,” which were released on the Houston-based D Records label.

Although this work became Frank Sinatra's signature song, his daughter Tina says the singer came to hate the song: "He didn't like it. That song stuck and he couldn't get it off his shoe. He always thought that song was self-serving and self-indulgent."

The song was, however, originally composed as “Comme d'Habitude” (“As Usual”), written by Jacques Revaux and Gilles Thibault along with Egyptian-born French singer Claude François. Canadian singer Paul Anka added the English words, turning it into the classic we now know.
