It depends on what format you are using (there are different formats like MLA, APA, etc.)

Generally speaking, if it is a full paragraph, you wouldn't want to write "Paragraph 1 reads [specific quotation]", ...

Usually it's recommended you only use shorter partial quotes in your writing, unless you absolutely have to quote the full paragraph.
