Steps

Gather Information

The more information the better. Please gather the following:

  • Address of the issue/incident
  • Time of the incident
  • Owner name if applicable
  • Description of the problem
  • Type of violation (graffiti, chipping paint, noise, etc.)

Report the Issue to Code Compliance

  • During normal business hours, call the Department of Code Compliance:(305) 416-2087(Hours of operation: Monday – Fridays: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
  • Call the after-hours hotline outside of normal business hours (786) 457-0995 (Open Monday – Thursday: 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., or Friday at 5:00 p.m. – Sunday at 5:00 p.m).
  • Call 311, a useful source of information for many City and County services.
