Just made a batch to accompany your Chicken Paprikash soup. They almost did not make it to the lunch table!Just out of the oven with butter is too good to be true.
I have never made biscuits before so I followed your recipe faithfully. The subtle taste combination is delicious either alone or with soup.
Thank you for all your recommendations, ideas, and recipes.

Made these biscuits to go with your roasted squash soup. So good! And easy!
It was decided that these would become a regular accompaniment to soup.

Biscuits are really the best! I’ve never tried cheddar and apple together but I’m sure the flavor is amazing. I will be making tons of soups in December and January (they are literally like the soup months) so I’m looking forward to whipping these up!

    • JenniferReply

Thanks Linda. I think you will love this combination. It’s subtle but oh so lovely together.

Jennifer, your blog has quickly become my absolute favorite since I recently discovered it on accident. I get giddy with delight when I see you in my inbox! :) My husband is the biscuit lover but I believe I may be the one in love with this recipe. Who doesn’t love savory and sweet? Stay warm, y’all. Our Thanksgiving will be in the 70’s!

    • JenniferReply

Thanks so much, Lori :) Enjoy the biscuits and have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m totally jealous of your 70’s weather. We’re topping out in the 30’s around here these days.

  12. KatrinaReply

Totally with you. The biscuits that actually go WITH the soup are the best! Love this apple + cheddar combo!

    • JenniferReply

Thanks Katrina. These were such tasty little treats and we enjoyed them a pot of roasted Butternut soup!

These are perfectly wonderful Jennifer! Apple and cheddar – so perfect and you are right – with a bowl of soup or just because you passed through the kitchen. Thank you for this lovely recipe. Hope you are well and staying warm!

    • JenniferReply

Thanks Tricia. Trying to stay warm here but the snow is hampering those plans (makes me cold just looking at it :) Feeling better every day though, which is good!
