Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the age of 61. Cherished partner of Karl Olsen. Proud mom of Holly Elise McQuarrie and Jerrett Naslund “adopted mom” of Maeghann Marsden. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Paula Day (Richard), Jackie Day-Tintinalli (Leo), and Peggy Day. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ted (former Police Chief of Exeter) and Marion Day, siblings; Rosallie Langford, and Ronald Day, niece Elise Zeehuisen and nephew Lance Langford.
A celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Wednesday, May 29th from 3 – 5 PM. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.

Carol and I are sorry to hear that Cathy has passed away. Thoughts of her send us back to those awesome days in the late 70’s and well into the 80’s and 90’s. We remember her as a fun loving person who enjoyed many of the same things as we did. She had a great love of the outdoors which tells us she was in touch with the most important things in life.
